Liza Deignan

Connected-at-Home was founded in 2010 by Liza Deignan after many years of managing a prestigious Vermont property management and concierge services company. According to Liza, “as many of my clients moved into retirement, their focus changed from their possessions to more personal concerns about available time, health and independence”. Connected-at-Home coordinates services for its members to find the best appropriate resources for all these priorities. Our mission is to support our members and their families with a focus on living at home, safely and independently.

Born in Rhode Island, Liza enjoyed a consulting career in technology before moving to Vermont in 1988 where she bought a bed and breakfast inn. This was followed in 1999 with the founding of a premier concierge services company. Connected-at-Home is the culmination of all these experiences – our expertise is to provide the resources that ensure that our members fully enjoy their retirement years. Liza is often heard to say, “I may be the Connected-at-Home boss today but I plan to be a member eventually! “.

Committed to volunteering and lifelong learning, Liza is currently on the Board of The Thompson Senior Center; delivers meals-on-wheels each week; is a member of the Advisory Board of the Mount Ascutney Community Care Coordination service and on the Ottauquechee Health Foundation Board of Directors.
